Privacy Policy

• Account details: your email address (used for magic-link sign-in), the nickname you choose, and the mood preferences you pick during onboarding.
• Content you create: journal entries (text and voice recordings), daily check-ins, quest progress, XP, streaks and any weekly plans you write.
• Payment details: handled by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number — we store only your membership status and renewal dates.
• Basic technical data: standard logs needed to keep the app running and secure.

• To sign you in and keep your progress, journals and check-ins saved for you.
• To unlock the features included in your membership tier.
• To send account and membership emails, such as your welcome email.
• To improve the app and fix problems.

We do not sell your information, and we do not run behavioral advertising.

When you record a journal entry, the audio is stored in your private account. If transcription or mood tagging is used, the recording is processed by an AI service solely to produce that text for you. Recordings are not shared publicly and are not used to sell anything to you.

Your journals and check-ins are private to your account. Progress summaries are shared only when you choose to send them from the Share Progress page. We work with service providers for hosting and database, payment processing, email delivery and AI transcription and voice narration, and they may only process data on our behalf. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Steady is designed for boys 10 to 16 and expects a parent or guardian to set up and oversee the account. Parents may contact us at connect@tyreedoyle.com to review, export or delete their child's information.

We keep your content while your account is active. You can delete individual journal entries and check-ins in the app, and you can ask us to delete your whole account by emailing connect@tyreedoyle.com. Yearly members can download their journal at any time.

Access to your data requires you to be signed in, and database access rules restrict each account to its own records. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a trusted email account for sign-in.

If we make meaningful changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, when appropriate, notify you by email.
